Job summary

WMCH Weirton Medical Center is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. You will apply the nursing process, exercise independent judgment, and coordinate with the care team to meet patient needs.

The role requires an active RN license (state or eNLC) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with at least 1 year of nursing experience. Typical 36-hour weekly schedule and day shift are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and family involvement.
