WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. The RN will apply the nursing process, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state where services will be provided or a multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members & healthcare consumers.
