Job summary

WMU Health System’s Weirton Medical Center is seeking a professional registered nurse to deliver inpatient nursing care in a hospital setting. The RN will use the nursing process, apply clinical knowledge, and exercise independent judgment to achieve quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a WV RN license (or eNLC), BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. 36 hours weekly, Day shift, Weirton, WV.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by WV or eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient plans of care based on data and needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
