Job summary

Mercy Health's Willard Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU (Critical Care) Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care. The role requires strong assessment, leadership, and collaboration with the care team to manage acutely ill patients.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, prioritizing interventions, and ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS qualifications are required or pursued, with demand for flexibility in a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department preferred.
• Current state RN license is required.
• ACLS and/or PALS are preferred or must be obtained.
• BSN is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patient status, develop care plans, implement and evaluate treatments.
• Administer medications safely according to policy and state practice.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions and provide evidence-based care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
