Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of starting in this role.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and prioritize the needs of critically ill patients and their families.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and provide interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and ongoing care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and guide other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow nursing standards and policies.
