McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks a dedicated Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to join our Day shift team. You will collaborate with physicians to plan and oversee patient care, delegate to nursing support staff, and lead care coordination for critically ill patients.

You’ll participate in discharge planning, attend conferences, mentor new staff, and drive evidence-based practice in a fast-paced unit. Requires active Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS within one year, and Basic Dysrhythmia

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a current license to practice in Michigan.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Must satisfactorily complete ACLS course within one year of hire/transfer.
• Must satisfactorily complete Basic Dysrhythmia course.

Responsabilidades

• Assumes leadership role for coordinating nursing care and delegating tasks.
• Integrates evidence-based knowledge into clinical practice.
• Teaches and guides staff; precepts new employees and students.
• Participates in discharge planning and unit quality measures.
• Acts as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and assignments.
