Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield is seeking an ICU registered nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate care for neurosurgical, neurotrauma, and medical-surgical patients.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, the ability to perform diverse nursing services, and excellent communication with patients, families, and hospital staff. MS BON/HG health provider certifications may be preferred; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or equivalent; graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to plan and evaluate care.
• Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care.
• Utilize nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to guide care.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the health care team and implement solutions for variances.
