Job summary

RiverBridge Specialty Hospital is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise and coordinate care for critically ill patients in the ICU. The RN educates, assesses needs, plans, implements and documents nursing care, directing other licensed staff as needed.

Candidate must hold an active RN license with ACLS and CPR certifications, and have 2–3 years of acute/critical care experience. Proficiency in English and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum 2–3 years acute care experience.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care planning and provision for critically ill patients.
• Direct and evaluate care delivered by licensed nurses and other personnel.
• Provide education to patients and families and document care.
• Assess needs, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for each patient.
