Job summary

RiverBridge Specialty Hospital is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise and coordinate care for critically ill patients in the ICU. The RN educates, assesses needs, plans, implements and documents nursing care, directing other licensed staff as needed.

Candidate must hold an active RN license with ACLS and CPR certifications, and have 2–3 years of acute/critical care experience. Proficiency in English and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum 2–3 years acute care experience.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

POSITION SUMMARY: The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) performs those activities for which the RN has been prepared through education, training, and experience. The RN provides nursing supervision in the planning for and provision of nursing care to critically ill patients, and directs and evaluates care given by other licensed nurses and personnel. The RN provides education, assesses needs, plans for, implements, evaluates and documents care being provided by nursing staff to each patient.

CERTIFICATIONS: CPR Certification, ACLS Certification required, Specialty Certification recognized, PICC Line Insertion Certification recognized

1. Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing;
2. Minimum 2 - 3 years acute care experience required.
3. Critical Care experience.
4. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills.
