Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care in a 12-hour shift setting. The incumbent will coordinate care using the Watson Model and participate in discharge planning with Care Managers.

The role requires Critical Care experience, an RN license with at least an Associates degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred to support diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and plan patient/family care.
• Prioritize and organize care; ensure follow-through with planned care.
• Deliver age-appropriate care using current literature and critical thinking.
