Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver nursing care in a Progressive/ICU setting. The RN will educate patients and families, manage transitions of care, and support the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. TN sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• Current RN license in applicable state.
• BLS valid for 90 days post start date (AHA/HeartCode BLS, Red Cross CPR, etc.).
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Provide direct patient care and transitions of care.
• Support professional nursing practice across settings.
• Lead and mentor within the unit as needed.
