Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate ICU care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and uphold nursing standards under the State Nurse Practice Act. The RN will perform assessments, develop and monitor care plans, administer medications and IV therapies, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families.

The ICU emphasizes evidence-based practice and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or nursing diploma with active RN license in Colorado.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• One year ICU or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of status and interventions.
• Promote patient safety, educate patients and families.
