Job summary

BayCare Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for the ICU at St. Joseph's Hospital South in Riverview, FL.

This full-time, in-person role runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with every other weekend and on-call requirements, focusing on compassionate, high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical ICU. Qualifications include an active RN license, nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor or higher), 1 year ICU experience, BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

RN License required.
Diploma/Associate/Bachelor in Nursing required or higher.
1 year ICU RN experience in Acute Care setting.
BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
ACLS certification with AHA.

Responsibilities

Provide independent care for a group of ICU patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegate appropriate patient care activities to health care team members.
Care for patients throughout recovery in critical care.
Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and respond to emergencies.
Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for continuity of care after discharge.
