Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure (North Dakota or compactRN) required.
• BLS certification within orientation period.
• Specialty certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients, promptly responding to changes and escalating concerns as needed.
• Administer medications, vasoactive infusions, blood products, and advanced therapies per ICU protocols.
• Assist physicians with complex procedures, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and ensure accurate interpretation and documentation of clinical data.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, ICU processes and discharge expectations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team during rounds to coordinate care and plan interventions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and participate in safety, quality, and performance-improvement activities.
