Job summary

Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District in Minot, ND is seeking an experienced RN in the NICU to provide specialized neonatal care for high-risk newborns. You will perform assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, support respiratory therapies, and educate families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires ND RN licensure (or compact), BLS and NRP within orientation, and ideally 1 year NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Current North Dakota RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required within orientation period.
• NRP certification required within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of newborns, including monitoring vital signs and respiratory status.
• Administer medications, manage IV access, support respiratory therapies, and implement neonatal interventions.
• Utilize neonatal monitoring equipment and respond promptly to alarms or changes in condition.
• Provide family-centered support by educating parents on infant care and development.
• Document assessments and treatments in the electronic health record for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans.
