Qualifications

• Current and valid NJ Nursing license required.

• BSN in progress or planned within 3 years of hire.
• Six months nursing experience or Nurse Residency Program participation.
• Telemetry certification a plus; ACLS preferred; national certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards.
• Communicate patient status and treatment plans with care team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation tech.
• Document care in Point-of-Care electronic records.
• Educate patients and families to optimize health and disease management.
• Discharge patients safely with appropriate care transitions.
