Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Advanced Cardiac Surgical ICU team. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring patient safety across 36-hour weekly schedules including nights and days.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, plan development, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with the care team. An RN license and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license required; BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
