Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Advanced Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ACSCU). You will provide high-level patient care for critically ill cardiac patients, collaborate with a world-class team, and support ECMO-based recovery with 1:1 patient care ratios.

Qualifications
- Experience in cardiac or critical care nursing preferred.
- Strong assessment and care planning skills.
- Ability to educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
- Comfort with hospital protocols and medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments following orders and monitor for adverse effects.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
