Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide therapeutic care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team. You will coordinate patient care and education for patients and families in a compassionate, safe environment.

Responsibilities include applying nursing assessment, planning and implementing care, administering medications and IV therapy, documenting accurately, and collaborating with case management for discharge planning; a CA RN license and ACLS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 1 year acute inpatient RN experience.
• ACLS required for ICU/Telemetry.
• CA RN license required.
• Excellent communication and independence.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Develops and documents plans of care with interventions.
• Transfers care coordination with case manager and physicians.
• Provides patient and family education.
