Job summary

Advocate Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced RN for ICU on the 3rd Floor. This full‑time position requires 3 x 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends and holidays rotating. The unit works in a fast-paced critical care environment with 36 hours per week.

The RN will apply the nursing process, document in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes and safety. A BSN is preferred; active RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; telehealth/virtual modalities may require licensing in state of client.
• BSN preferred and willingness to pursue professional development.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Maintains safe patient care and promotes a culture of safety.
• Document accurate, timely EHR entries.
• May float to other units to meet care needs.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
