Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care per physician orders. You will assess, monitor, and implement treatment plans while ensuring patient safety and thorough documentation.

The role involves ventilator management, ABG punctures, and collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care across patient populations. ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE as applicable may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE certifications as applicable to NICU work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Maintains documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
