Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications required upon hire.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills; proficient with computer systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex respiratory care and patient assessments in critical care.
• Collaborate with care teams to plan and implement therapies.
• Administer aerosols, manage ventilators, interpret waveforms, and perform airway procedures.
• Perform ABG sampling and analysis; educate patients and families.
• Mentor staff and students; promote safety and quality initiatives.
• Assist with invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed.
