Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Resource Nurse in the ICU to deliver evidence-based nursing care in a collaborative environment. You will ensure safe, individualized patient care across the ICU team.

In this full-time night shift role, you will advocate for patient health, communicate status and treatment plans with the healthcare team, and participate in interdisciplinary care from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• At least 2 years of critical care RN experience.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification; ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced clinical documentation technology.
• Provide patient and family-centered care for health and wellness optimization.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary in managing patient care plans from admission to discharge.
