Job summary

This full-time night-shift role requires a NJ RN license; BSN preferred. Candidates should have 6+ months of nursing experience, ICU/step-down/ER experience desired, ACLS preferred, and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of starting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 6+ months of nursing experience required.
• 1 year experience in an ICU, step down unit, or Emergency room preferred.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of entering position.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Initiate interventions for changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately.
