Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/badge for state licensure.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• TNCC or TCAR within one year of hire.
• 1 year RN ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient responses and implement the plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IV therapy, wound care, meds administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Document status and outcomes accurately using IT systems.
• Promote patient safety, health, and education for patient and family.
