Job summary

Centerpoint - Winchester is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit. The role features a full-time nights schedule (3x12) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS within 10 days of hire; ACLS within 30 days; PALS within 45 days.
• Associates Degree in Nursing is required; KY RN licensure or compact licensure required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration and other clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge and referrals.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient/family and provides education.
• Works as an advocate for the patient's physical and emotional well-being.
