Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for per diem shifts. You will provide safe, competent nursing care for ICU patients and support the healthcare team in accordance with facility policies and the Patient Centered Care model.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, performing hourly rounds, and communicating with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS (or obtained within six months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Performs hourly rounds to strengthen communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs.
• Supports and informs patient and family about the Patient Centered Care Delivery model.
