Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Nurses hired on or after June 14, 2017, must obtain a BSN from an accredited institution within three years of hire or transfer into the position.
• Employees hired or transferred prior to established organizational BSN requirements will remain subject to the conditions outlined in their offer letter and applicable organizational policies.
• BLS certification required on the first day of employment.
• Preferred certifications may include ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity across the patient care continuum.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Function as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards of practice.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and teamwork.
