Job summary

Desert Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assessments, and patient education on a high-acuity unit. The role includes medication administration, vent management, and collaboration with physicians to ensure quality outcomes.

Requires CA RN license, 1+ year ICU experience (open heart preferred), and current BLS/ACLS. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is available for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License is required.
• 1yr ICU experience required; open heart experience preferred.
• Active BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care and patient/family education.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and develop discharge plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Serve as a charge nurse and resource to staff and students.
