Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift. The role offers a substantial sign-on bonus up to $25,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with match.

As a core member of our nursing team, you will deliver high-quality patient care, perform assessments, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications maintained
• Strong patient-care and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provides total nursing care and assessment for assigned patients.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments and documents changes.
• Cares for two critically ill patients and monitors ventilated patients.
• Administers medications per policy and verifies MAR.
• Initiates discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Acts as liaison with physicians and other health professionals.
