Job summary

Tenet Desert in Indio, CA is seeking an ICU - Intensive Care Unit Charge Nurse (RN) for a night shift, full-time position. Hours are 1900-0730 with a schedule of 6 shifts per two weeks; some weekends are required.

Up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. The PCC in critical care coordinates the care of the critically ill patient, supervises unit activities, mentors staff, and leads performance improvement projects.

Qualifications

• California RN License is required and RN III level leadership skills preferred.
• Experience in critical care and managing ventilated patients is expected.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS/PALS certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for critically ill patients in ICU.
• Lead daily unit operations and Rapid Response Team activities.
• Assist with staff hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
