Job summary

Aurora Medical Center-Summit ICU, a 14-bed unit, values teamwork among registered nurses, CNAs, and health unit coordinators as they care for trauma, surgical, cardiac, and neurological patients with compassion.

This part-time RN position (24 hours/week; 0.6 FTE) includes night shifts 7pm–7am, weekends every third, and 3 holidays per year. Requires nursing program completion, state RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, NIHSS within 6 months; CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the AHA.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe environment and excellent patient experience.
