Job summary

Novant Health’s Medical ICU in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time RN with ICU experience to provide high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, teamwork, and compassionate patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• If RN license has been inactive or lapsed, refresher course is required before reactivating license.
• To be considered for licensure status, apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

Responsibilities

• Establish authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their support system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to help the patient navigate their health journey.
