Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 40-bed ICU at Atrium Health Cabarrus. You will work 12-hour night shifts, with a typical 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, providing critical care to ventilated and complex medical-surgical patients.

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other team members, with self-scheduling and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license.
• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience; not suitable for new grads.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a ICU with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team during rounds.
• Support ventilation and complex medical–surgical care.
