Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit as an ECMO Specialist. The role provides specialized nursing care for patients on ECMO with leadership in critical situations.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BLS, and relevant ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC certifications for designated areas. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes information to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Identifies and prioritizes information for evidence-based, patient-focused action.
• Documents patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with medical staff and nursing leadership to manage unit operations.
• Performs duties as assigned and maintains equipment and supplies.
