Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred.
• 1 year applicable experience Required.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice or holds an active compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Instructs on non-medical follow-up measures such as diet and exercise for home self-management.
• Applies evidence-based practices and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and delivers holistic patient care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
