Job summary

The ICU at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking a full-time registered nurse to provide high-quality critical care to patients 14 years or older. You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff in a fast-paced environment.

You must hold a BSN and an active North Carolina RN license; BLS is required. Twelve months of clinical experience is preferred to ensure safe, evidence-based practice and professional growth within Duke Health.

Qualifications

• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed care providers; act as team leader when assigned.
