Job summary

Mercy Health is recruiting an experienced ICU RN for the Fairfield Hospital CCU to deliver exceptional critical care nursing during evenings and night shifts. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and execution of comprehensive care plans for critically ill patients.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience with preference for critical care exposure. The position offers generous benefits and career growth within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months in CCU/ICU preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or to be obtained within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments; create and adjust plans of care.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies.
• Monitor rapidly changing patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic healing environment.
