Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an ICU (Critical Care) Registered Nurse at Fairfield Hospital to deliver exceptional nursing care in a high-acuity environment. You will collaborate with the care team, assess patients, and implement treatment plans to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of RN experience (with 6 months in Med/Surg, CCU, Stepdown, or ED preferred), hold an RN license, and meet certification expectations (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred but not required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS (basic life support) or ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred at hire or required in pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment; create a plan of care; implement treatment; evaluate effectiveness.
• Synthesize information and prioritize actions with clinical judgement.
• Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Safely administer medications per state and organizational policy.
