Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU on a full-time night shift (7p-7a) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates. The RN will deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, documenting outcomes and coordinating with physicians.

Responsibilities include prioritizing patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely communication.

Qualifications

• AS nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• Crisis Prevention required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Review and document care provided and patient outcomes.
• Prioritize care based on changing assessments and needs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians and other hospital departments.
