Job summary

Mercy Health’s Perrysburg Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care/Intermediate Care Units. This ICU-adjacent role emphasizes leadership, assessment, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collaboration with the care team, accurate patient assessments, treatment plans, and safe medication administration. Requires active RN licensure and 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, not required.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and ACLS within 6 months; PALS preferred at hire (required for Pediatric Units)
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown or ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments; create care plans; implement treatment and evaluate effectiveness.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedures.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical judgement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
