Qualifications

• RN license in CA required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience; new grads within first year complete required program.
• ACLS and BLS certifications REQUIRED; NIH Stroke Scale certification REQUIRED.
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate provided by Various-Employee; RN must maintain current certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Utilize nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document care and ensure compliance with unit standards and safety policies.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and support of bedside staff.
