Northwest Healthcare seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role supports activities of daily living, maintains a safe care environment, and ensures clear communication within the team.

The position involves assisting with basic patient care, collecting vital signs, meals and mobility support, sample collection, and documentation, with emphasis on infection control and teamwork. BCLS required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services and maintains a safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, and reports to the RN/LPN.
• Assists patients with meals, bathing, grooming, oral care, and mobility needs.
• Supports patient repositioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collects urine/stool samples and performs finger-stick glucose monitoring per protocol.
• Maintains infection control practices and communicates effectively with the care team.
