Zusammenfassung

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the ICU on nights, part-time at 0.9 FTE. You will provide patient care under the supervision of physicians and nursing staff, ensuring accurate documentation, and upholding privacy and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with care from newborn to geriatric, communicating effectively with the care team, and contributing to the hospital’s mission and values.

Qualifikationen

• Certification as an MA, CNA, EMT, or HHA in the state of Kansas or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS/CPR card obtained within 30 days of hire or orientation end.
• Training in sterile technique, sterile field and instrument care/handling.
• Training in EKG and phlebotomy during on-the-job orientation.

Aufgaben

• Complete timely and accurate documentation per policy.
• Provide care per unit/department competencies, policies and procedures.
• Care for patients from newborn through geriatric as directed.
• Act in line with the mission, vision, and values.
• Protect PHI and adhere to privacy and security regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, team members and physicians.
