Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II for the Cardiac Surgery Intermediate and Critical Care IMC/ICU (MFT3) at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. This full-time night-shift position supports nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified (CNA) or Licensed (LNA) Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Experience: At least six months of CNA/LNA experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions, clinical competencies and clinical knowledge of a Certified Nursing Assistant I.

Responsibilities

Assist in the administration of nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
