Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Ability to understand and prepare complex business materials and contracts.
• Excellent communication with associates, management, physicians and external agencies.
• Proven leadership in staffing, budgeting and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates fiscal responsibility for departmental budgets.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and monitors departmental activities in collaboration with Directors and Medical Director.
• Schedules staffing to meet workload and productivity standards.
• Leads a unit-based Performance Improvement program.
• Hires, develops, and maintains a skilled workforce while maintaining management competencies.
• Ensures safety standards compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Aligns unit goals with hospital policy, mission, and values.
• Serves as a liaison with physicians to resolve operational issues.
