Qualifications

• Requires state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Demonstrated leadership experience required and ICU background.
• Ability to think critically and work with minimal supervision; handle stressful environments.
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS certification; training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of ICU department goals and standards.
• Directs operations including patient care, technology, service levels, and complaints.
• Manages staffing: hiring, training, evaluations, and professional development; oversees budgets.
• Ensures compliance with financial/audit requirements and promotes evidence-based practice.
