Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Maryland.
• BSN within 5 years of date of hire (where applicable).
• BLS - American Heart Association Health Provider.
• If serving as an interpreter, Medical Interpretation certification.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to high-quality, cost-effective patient care as part of the health care team.
• Assess patients and learning needs; develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and manage pain per standards.
• Continuously evaluate care effectiveness and revise plans as needed.
• Provide direct patient care in a culturally competent manner.
• Educate patients and families and document care in the electronic health record.
