Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for the NC Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill, NC. This full-time 36-hour per week role involves 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with weekend/holiday rotation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications include NC Nursing Assistant I with BLS, preferred 6 months of CNA experience, and fluency in English with basic computer skills. Onsite work with UNC Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant I with BLS certification.
• Prefer six months of nursing assistant experience.
• Fluent in English and able to develop basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Observe, collect and document patient information and report changes to the nurse/physician.
• Provide direct personal care for activities of daily living and coordinate with team for safe patient care.
• Transport patients, supplies and specimens and help with admissions, orientation and discharge.
• Reinforce patient education and distribute materials as needed.
