Job summary

Qualifications

• Listed as Nursing Assistant I by NC DHHS; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and providers with routine exams and procedures; procures equipment and supplies.
• Transcribes orders; reviews documentation for clarity and accuracy; maintains medical records.
• Provides clerical support and patient interactions; greets visitors and relays information to nurses and physicians.
• Provides clinical support including cleaning areas, transporting patients, restocking supplies, and orienting new staff and students.
• Performs personal care tasks as outlined in care plans; measures vital signs and records measurements.
• Reinforces patient instructions and distributes education materials.
